The development of Draft Regional Park Management Plans at Yellagonga and Jandakot in Western Australia was resourced by a small planning team, led by Plan E Landscape Architects and including the client, Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM) and local government representatives.
The scope of work included analysis of land use issues, community consultation, and development of objectives, strategies and management outcomes.
David worked closely with the client and the consultant team to identify land use values and strategies. These were workshopped and incorporated into the draft document.  Consderable work was undertaken to map and illustrate key planning elements including land tenure, land uses, vegetation and a recreation masterplan, among others.
Mapping illustrations were completed in Adobe Freehand and David was later engaged by CALM to provide support and training in the use of the software by CALM staff.
