Landscape design of an apartment complex in Karratha, WA was carried out within a multidisciplinary (GHD) team.
The Baynton West development was designed to provide higher density apartment accommodation for government and private sector staff with 210 dwellings on a 4.1 ha site.
Landscape design incorporated water sensitive design principles with the use of large areas of gravel and riverstone to intercept and detain surface run-off together with extensive use of local native plant species.
